I always wondered why people use personal trainers. I mean, doesn’t everyone in America know that to get in shape you have to:
1. eat less
2. do some cardio at least 3x week, and
3. do some moderate weight training.
So why pay someone to tell you that? Last year I posed that question to a personal trainer who was my walking partner for a couple of months. She answered that it was mostly about accountability. Hmm, for that amount of money I decided I could just be accountable to myself.
Well, guess what? It’s 15 months later and I’m still a slug! So I called Kara and we’re meeting on Monday. Sometimes you just gotta have professional help. I’ll let you know how it goes…
